This startling club is one of the more interesting weapons depicted in the Maciejowski Bible, a circa 1250 illustrated book that's a treasure trove of period arms and armor. We've had this one on our minds for awhile, and now that we've experienced it in three dimensions, we're glad we made it. The heft and feel cause us to pause, as it is simple, brutal and highly effective. Shaft is hardwood. Head is a steel tube fitted to the shaft, and covered with four rows of steel studs making it a highly effective weapon, favored by both knight and man-at-arms.
